1. Why These Guidelines Exist
ProJob works only if people can trust what they find here. A candidate needs to believe a listing is real. An employer needs to believe a profile is honest.
These guidelines set out what we expect from everyone using ProJob. They apply alongside the Candidate Terms and the Employer Terms, which are the binding agreements.
ProJob is operated by [[LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME]].
2. What We Expect From Everyone
Be truthful. Do not state things you know are not true — about yourself, your company, an opportunity, or a qualification.
Be respectful. Communicate professionally. Harassment, abuse, threats and discriminatory language have no place here.
Respect privacy. Information you obtain through ProJob about another person or company is for the purpose it was given, and nothing else.
Do not game the system. No multiple accounts, no automated access, no working around limits, no artificial inflation of listings or profiles.
3. For Candidates
Your profile should be yours and accurate. Real name, real education, real work history, real skills. Aspirational is fine in a summary; invented is not.
Do not use forged documents. Fabricated certificates, degrees, experience letters or identity documents result in permanent removal, not a warning.
One account per person. Applying repeatedly through different accounts does not improve your chances and will get all of them closed.
Apply for yourself. Do not apply on behalf of someone else, and do not let anyone else use your account.
Never pay. ProJob is free for candidates and no legitimate employer will ask you for money. If someone asks, do not pay — tell us instead.
Communicate professionally with employers. If you are no longer interested, withdraw the application rather than going silent, where you can.
4. For Employers
Post only real, open opportunities. At the company named in the listing. Take listings down when they are filled.
Be accurate about the role. Location, work mode, employment type, hours, and compensation where you state it. If something is undecided, leave it out rather than guess.
Never ask a candidate for money. No registration fees, training fees, deposits, kit charges or document charges, at any stage, for any reason. This is the fastest way to lose an account on ProJob.
Do not discriminate. Listings must not exclude candidates on grounds prohibited by Indian law, including caste, religion, sex, place of birth or disability.
Respect candidate data. Use it to assess and contact that candidate about your own opportunity. Do not export it, resell it, share it, or add it to any other list. This is set out in full in the Employer Terms.
Respond to applicants. Not every applicant can be hired, but leaving people with no answer at all is the single most common complaint candidates raise. Close applications out where you can.
5. Not Allowed Anywhere on ProJob
- Fake listings, fake companies, fake profiles, fake documents
- Any demand for payment from a candidate
- Multi-level marketing or chain-recruitment schemes presented as jobs
- Discriminatory listings or messages
- Harassment, abuse, threats, or sexual advances
- Scraping, bulk extraction or automated access of any kind
- Sharing another person's personal information without a lawful basis
- Using ProJob to advertise unrelated products, services or platforms
- Anything unlawful
6. How We Enforce This
We act on what we find and on what people report. Depending on what has happened, we may:
- Ask you to fix it — for example, correct or complete a listing
- Remove content — take down a listing, a profile section or an uploaded file
- Restrict the account — limit posting, applying or database access while we look into it
- Suspend the account — temporarily, pending a response from you
- Close the account permanently — for serious breaches, or repeated ones
For most issues we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to respond. For forged documents, impersonation, payment demands made to candidates, or misuse of candidate data, we may act immediately and without notice.
If your account has been restricted or closed and you believe we have it wrong, write to us and we will look again.
7. Reporting a Problem
If you see a listing, a profile or a message that breaks these guidelines, tell us.
Use our contact page and include:
- What you are reporting — the listing, company or profile, with the page link
- What is wrong with it
- When it happened
- Anything you have that supports it — a message, a screenshot, an email
We look at every report. We cannot always tell you what action we took about someone else's account, because we are limited in what we can disclose about another user.
If a listing has asked you for money, or you believe you have been defrauded, please also report it to your local police or to the national cyber crime portal. ProJob can remove a listing; it cannot recover money or bring a prosecution.
8. Changes
We will update these guidelines as the platform changes. The date at the top shows the last update.
