1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Candidate Terms of Use apply to you when you create a candidate account on ProJob, or when you use ProJob to search or apply for jobs, internships or projects. ProJob is operated by [[LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME]], with its registered office at [[REGISTERED_ADDRESS]].

By registering an account or applying to any opportunity, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not register or apply.

These terms work together with our Privacy Policy and our Platform Guidelines. Where a subject is covered in more detail in one of those documents, that document applies.

  • Terms & Conditions

2. Who Can Register

You may register as a candidate if you are 18 years of age or older and legally permitted to work in the country where you are seeking work.

If you are under 18, you may use ProJob only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and only for opportunities that are lawful for your age. Some opportunities on ProJob are restricted to adults and will not be available to you.

One person may hold one candidate account. Creating multiple accounts to apply repeatedly to the same opportunity, or to hide an earlier account's history, is not permitted.

3. ProJob Is Free for Candidates

ProJob does not charge candidates. There is no registration fee, no application fee, no profile fee and no placement fee. This does not change and there is no premium candidate tier that alters it.

Because of this, one rule follows: no one should ever ask you for money in connection with a job you found on ProJob. Not for the application, not for training, not for a security deposit, not for a registration kit, not to release an offer letter. If anyone asks, it is not a legitimate opportunity, whoever they claim to be.

4. Your Account and Your Information

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you put in your profile. That includes your name, contact details, education, work history, skills and any documents you upload.

Submitting information you know to be false — invented employment, qualifications you do not hold, forged certificates or documents, or another person's identity or work history — is a serious breach of these terms and will result in your account being removed.

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.

5. Your Profile and Who Can See It

Your profile is not a public web page. It is not listed on the public ProJob website and is not indexed by search engines.

Your profile can be seen by:

  • Employers who have purchased access to search candidate profiles on ProJob, and
  • An employer to whose opportunity you have applied, for the purpose of considering your application.

Your contact details — email address and phone number — are treated separately from the rest of your profile. They are masked by default and are released to an employer only through ProJob's controlled process, or where you have applied to that employer's opportunity and contact is necessary to progress your application.

You control your profile visibility setting from your candidate account. If you set your profile to not be discoverable, employers searching the database will not see it; employers to whose opportunities you have already applied will still see the application you sent them.

  • Privacy Policy

6. What You Upload

When you upload a resume, portfolio, certificate or other document, you keep ownership of it. You give ProJob permission to store it and to show it to employers in the circumstances described in Section 5, for as long as your account is active.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share — including documents containing another person's personal information, or material belonging to a current or former employer.

7. Applying to Opportunities

When you apply, ProJob passes your application to the employer. What happens after that is the employer's decision.

ProJob does not guarantee that you will receive a response, an interview, an offer or a job. ProJob does not guarantee that any particular number of opportunities will be available to you, or that opportunities matching your preferences exist at any given time.

You may withdraw an application from your candidate account. Withdrawing does not require the employer to delete the copy they have already received.

8. ProJob Is Not the Employer

For most opportunities on ProJob, the employer is a separate company. ProJob is the platform where the opportunity is listed. The employment relationship, if one is created, is between you and that employer.

Some opportunities are posted by ProJob's own team on behalf of a client company. Those listings name the client company as the employer. Where ProJob's team is managing hiring for a client, that will be apparent from the listing. Even then, unless a listing says expressly that ProJob is the employer, ProJob is not your employer.

ProJob does not set salaries, working conditions, shift timings, notice periods or any other term of employment, and does not become responsible for them.

9. What ProJob Checks, and What It Does Not

ProJob applies checks to listings and to employer accounts, and removes listings that breach our Platform Guidelines when we become aware of them.

We do not independently verify every employer, every listing, or every claim made in a listing. Listing on ProJob is not an endorsement, a guarantee of legitimacy, or a recommendation.

Use your own judgement, and use the guidance in our Job Fraud & Safety Center.

10. Things You Must Not Do

  • Submit false, forged or borrowed information, documents or identity
  • Create more than one candidate account
  • Apply on behalf of another person, or let another person use your account
  • Copy, scrape, harvest or bulk-download listings, company details or any other content from ProJob, by any means including automated ones
  • Use ProJob to advertise services, recruit for another platform, or send commercial messages to employers
  • Attempt to access parts of ProJob you are not authorised to reach, or to interfere with how the platform works
  • Harass, abuse or threaten any employer, recruiter or member of ProJob staff
  • Use ProJob for anything unlawful

11. Messages from ProJob

Once you register, ProJob will send you messages that are necessary to run your account — verification codes, application updates, password resets and security notices. These are part of the service and cannot be switched off while your account is active.

You can control optional messages — job alerts, recommendations and marketing — from your account settings, and every marketing message carries an unsubscribe link.

Standard carrier charges may apply to SMS.

12. Suspension and Closure

We may restrict, suspend or close a candidate account that breaches these terms or our Platform Guidelines. Where the circumstances allow, we will tell you what the problem is and give you an opportunity to respond. Where the breach involves forged documents, impersonation or a risk to other users, we may act immediately.

You can close your account at any time from your account settings. Some records are retained after closure where we are required to keep them, or to handle a dispute — our Privacy Policy explains for how long and why.

13. Our Responsibility

ProJob provides the platform as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise that the information in a listing is accurate — that information comes from the employer.

To the extent Indian law allows, ProJob is not liable for loss arising from an employer's conduct, from a listing that turns out to be inaccurate or fraudulent, from a decision you take based on the platform, or from an outcome you hoped for and did not get. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you through the platform or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use ProJob after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Grievances, Governing Law and Contact

If you have a complaint about ProJob, about a listing, or about how your information has been handled, contact our Grievance Officer:

Grievance Officer: [[GRIEVANCE_OFFICER_NAME]]

Email: [[GRIEVANCE_OFFICER_EMAIL]]

Address: [[REGISTERED_ADDRESS]]

We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within the timelines required by applicable Indian law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [[JURISDICTION_CITY]] have jurisdiction.

For anything else, use our contact page.
