Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Assistant to join our firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher who is eager to build a career in taxation and accounting. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Tally, accounting principles, auditing processes, GST, income tax, and TDS compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records in Tally.
Support in filing GST returns and ensuring compliance with GST regulations.
Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Assist in TDS computation, deduction, and filing of TDS returns.
Conduct basic audits and prepare audit reports under the guidance of senior staff.
Reconcile accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Provide support in day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GST, income tax, and TDS.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
